 This document was sent to the board members for there study, prior to my five minute speech that I am alotted on September 10th.  The governor will be in attendance.

It is rather long at seven pages, but the need to highlight this mans egregious actions was crucial. Page two is rather damning in exposing his intentions of using his position as an educator to propagandize education.

 

 

University of Illinois Board of Trustees - Governor Quinn

 

The purpose of this letter is to express my concerns, and this boards responsibilities concerning Bill Ayers and his activities since his infamous Weatherman days.  The evidence clearly shows virtually all of Bill Ayers’ body of works has been focused on one goal, the Socialist reformation of our government.  This defines him.  He has served a leadership role in the Socialist movement’s subversion of education.  This movement must be exposed and deposed, our institutions purged of this infection.  The evidence confirms an investigation is warranted and long overdue.  Hindsight is twenty-twenty!

 

Bill Ayers’ works are a direct responsibility of the University of Illinois, due to the historical record of enabling him through employment and the granting of tenure.  The Board of Trustees at the University of Illinois is the authoritative body whose duty is to investigate the viability of these concerns and to act judiciously, by calling for a full investigation of Bill Ayers for academic misconduct.

 

Bill Ayers has not worked alone.  There is a clear body of evidence that substantiates the intentional subversion of education by a dedicated group of anti-American Socialists.  Many of these people intentionally went into the profession of education determined to develop and exploit their positions to undermine America’s government.

 

The “Fifth Column” refers to a clandestine subversive organization working within a country to further an enemy’s political aims.  This is an appropriate term in this case, as these dedicated and self declared enemies of Capitalism, Socialists, collectively work for revolution from within education, helping protect each other through “free speech” and similar seemingly subjective arguments. 

 

These people went to work developing mechanisms intent on propagating misinformation rather than educating.  Neither free speech nor tenure allows for lying to students, or using interpretive education as truth.  (To clarify, the free speech clause of the first amendment wasn’t intended to protect liars and propagandists from repercussions, like being fired for academic misconduct.)

 

Interpretive education is the concept that all things can be viewed from a multitude of angles; therefore, there is always an anti-American view to exploit.  Manufacturing history as a propaganda tool is at their foundation.  Revisionist history is often a biased lie, and taught as truth by those in a position of authority and influence.  This stands alone as academic misconduct, violating a sacred bond, a trust, between a teacher and a student and an institution of learning.  Misinformation founded in personal anti-American political ideology is highly unethical and beyond any professors free speech parameter. 

 

Nor do the radical tenets of the most radical Critical pedagogy justify Bill Ayers’ revolutionary actions.  It is academic misconduct of the highest level.

Following is a select group of statements and writings attributed to Bill Ayers which in no uncertain terms expose his mind set, both from a foundational belief system and as a point of intent in teaching towards revolution.  His conviction is found within these declarations and can not be denied or ignored given their stated intent.

 

The following are excerpts from “Prairie Fire”, a book he co-authored in 1974:  It marks the beginning of his second and on going campaign for revolution.  (Emphasis added)

“Our intention is to disrupt the empire, to incapacitate it, to put pressure on the cracks, to make it hard to carry out its bloody functioning against the people of the world, to join the world struggle, to attack from the inside.”

 

“We need a revolutionary communist party in order to lead the struggle, give coherence and direction to the fight, seize power and build the new society.”

 

“Our job is to tap the discontent seething in many sectors of the population, to find allies everywhere people are hungry or angry, to mobilize poor and working people against Imperialism.”

 

“Socialism is the total opposite of Capitalism/Imperialism.  It is the rejection of empire and white supremacy.  Socialism is the violent overthrow of the bourgeoisie, the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat and the eradication of the social system based on profit.” 

 

The following are recent statements that confirm his steadfast intentions:

 

“What a country, it makes me want to puke.”  (Concerning his hatred for America)

 

“Education is the motor-force of revolution.”  “Viva President Chavez” (This democratically elected President commandeered education a few weeks ago!)

 

“Could we go beyond ending the war and end the system that leads to wars?” (Calling for the end of our Constitutional government.)

 

“If we wanted a foreign policy based on justice, we ought to get busy organizing robust anti-Imperialist peace movements.  We are not allowed to sit quietly in a democracy.”

 

 These are this man’s thoughts and statements that work towards revolution.  Academic freedom does not protect against academic misconduct.  Professors of education are not hired to espouse radical political beliefs or build a revolutionary force.  (It is not academic freedom; it is political indoctrination, it is academic misconduct, it is sedition.)

 

 Bill Ayers stated, “Is the university a fiefdom of the governor,  political leaders who weigh in on what’s appropriate to teach and who’s appropriate to teach, it is the right to think at all, which is in dispute.”

 

I disagree with this statement and it is at the heart of the issue.  I, a concerned American citizen, Mark Thompson, deplore the fact that a declared enemy of my country has his hands on the wheel of the vehicle that steers our future.  Bill Ayers is a stated Socialist, “small c communist” who lives and works to undermine our form of government, using free speech and tenure as his shield.  I speak for many more than those few in government power today.  I speak for the vast majority of Americans and demand that the subversion of education be acknowledged and stopped.  Free speech does not open the door to propagandize the classroom, let alone the entire spectrum of education.  As a critical thinker, I find Bill Ayers’ misconduct quite transparent, as will an independent investigation. 

 

Bill Ayers’ rise to the VP of Curriculum Studies for the American Education Research Association is nothing short of self-validation by like minded Socialists.  The deep roots of this anti-American Socialist movement are validated by this self-serving vote of approval, creating a false credibility and enabling them to further their Socialist agenda.  The AERA is comprised of approximately 25,000 professors and researchers, the largest organization of its kind.  We have Bill Ayers teaching/preaching a critical pedagogy, an anti-American course of study and he becomes the overseer of all curriculums for all age groups. It is beyond logic, beyond his accomplishments for this man to warrant such high esteem, other than the reality.  It substantiates the inroads, the control this subversive movement has within education, a subtle, below the radar tactic in the subversion of education.  His accolades are manufactured to give credibility to a system that fails students at horrific rates. 

 

Feel-good education is useless in the real world.  Foundational knowledge is lost in his “Small Class Workshops.”  The concept of “Small Class” is viable, but unfortunately, the small class is used to perpetuate the anti-American propaganda found within the curriculum of social justice.  It has little to do with educating kids to the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic, the true foundation to education.  Small classes help build relationships, which opens the door for the “political pedophiles” to pass on their ideology as caring, trustworthy, all knowing, like minded friends.  (Psychological manipulation is a proven tactic, abused by those with a political agenda.)

 

Approximately fifty percent of the student populace in the inner city does not graduate high school. (Fifty percent would be a great batting average, a good shooting percentage but a horrendous graduation rate.  Yet Bill Ayers is acclaimed for his work in this field.  Why? Why? Why?  Look two paragraphs above for answer.)  Bill Ayers shifts the blame to our government, when in reality it has everything to do with the intentional destruction of the foundation of education, dumbification.  This focus on indoctrination, takes place one “small class” at a time, while deemphasizing the basic traditional courses.

 

The Chicago Annenberg Challenge (Bill Ayers’ project) was a failure in regards to basic education, but a huge success in establishing the “Social Justice” curriculum as a focus within education, the underlying goal.  There is some truth to what is being taught, but reality does not warrant its emphasis as a core curriculum, when it should be nothing more than a relatively minor sub-topic along the path to a comprehensive education. 

 

Socialists embedded within education exploit this “social justice” curriculum as a highly effective tool to undermine government and students.  That is its true utility it does very little for society or individuals within this society in regards to furthering their foundation of knowledge or helping those caught in the trap.  The trap set by those willing to kill millions to achieve their goals, as Bill Ayers stated.  He anticipated the need to kill up to twenty five million people in the revolution that he was working towards.  To misinform them, to fail them, to oppress them (dumbification) is the trap that is kind in comparison.  Today it is his day job, to usher in the revolution, by suppressing the urban populace and creating division.  I would argue this is the greatest case of racism and oppression of people in America today, perpetuated throughout education, subtly, but effectively!

 

Another avenue that has been created and nurtured is via over five hundred “Liberal Residential Learning Centers” that call the Universities home.  One such example is Allen Hall on the Urbana campus, where I encountered Bill Ayers.  Six hundred and fifty students live and learn within this facility.  Here these young, eager and impressionable minds are subject to a constant yet subtle barrage of leftist propaganda.  Ultimately, it is nothing short of thought control.  One of the vehicles to propagate the misinformation is a parade of leftist lecturers, such as Bill Ayers, people of fame, authors, who are very personable and endearing.  In this controlled environment students are encouraged and challenged to dedicate their life for a worthwhile cause, as “they, themselves, have done”.  Basic psychology goes a long way with many young people, given their limited frame of reference.  In many ways it is the same approach a pedophile uses to gain trust and then act.  “Political pedophiles” embedded in education are no different.  There is some truth to their stories, but in reality, an ulterior motive, an agenda is at hand, unknown to the students who soak up the experiences and yearn to make a difference in this world.

 

At these “Liberal Residential Learning Centers,” students are encouraged and cultivated for the activist movements.  Mandatory classes work quite well to breed the anti-American theme; that America is a racist, oppressive and unjust society due to the actions of our government.  Many students organize leftist organizations or go into administration in an existing organization for credit hours;  These job placements are readily available and encouraged through avenues designed specifically for this, grants, credit hours, even as a major.  The facts are clear; these “Liberal Residential Learning Centers” are breeding grounds to perpetuate the Socialist agenda, and there are over five hundred of them nationwide. 

 

Social justice teaching and Critical pedagogy are used and abused to propagandize education and to build activist networks to undermine our government.  The numerous roads that lead to this conclusion are well beaten and the trails are mapped, easily linked on the internet and these days, manifest on national television.

 

Let me assure this board, “liberal teaching practices” like small groups, are not to be confused with the liberal political ideology that is being promoted and at the heart of these centers.  This is political indoctrination, along with some song and dance, of the liberal arts, the thin (yet transparent) veil of truth that attempts to cover their actions.

 

“The Center for Youth and Society” is another instrument Bill Ayers has developed that works towards his own political goals.  On the surface it appears acceptable, perhaps noble, but it is heavily laden with a political agenda that is often used as an instrument to “disrupt and incapacitate” our government.  There are many more instruments and mechanisms that are incorporated to further their agenda that would come to light in an investigation.  At this point, it is not necessary to list them.

 

 

In summary, Bill Ayers and many of his Socialist cohorts transitioned forces after their victory against America in the Vietnam War.  They moved to undermine our institutions of education, intent on undermining our form of government.  “The pen is mightier than the sword”, as “perception is reality”, the truth is the lie, the mantras of the propagandist. 

 

These words are not meant to prove the case, they are meant to open the door for the investigation, to establish validity.  They do this beyond a shadow of a doubt, beyond the boundaries of free speech, or the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 94; sedition.

 

In no uncertain terms Bill Ayers has declared his intent:

 

            * His intention is to disrupt, to incapacitate, to attack from the inside.

 

            * His “job” is to eradicate the Capitalist Republic of America.

 

            * “Education is the motor-force of revolution.”  He acknowledges and      emphasizes the power he wields daily.

 

            *That he would find and motivate people to overthrow our form of      government, and then he has worked consistently doing just that as a      Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois.  His reach is direct with       students and indirect as he influences and guides curriculum that other       sympathetic educators espouse to those students in their immediate reach and         through the vast array of textbooks they edit to meet their radical agenda.

 

Bill Ayers has worked as a foreign agent of change, Socialist change, for his entire career.  This is sedition, in that he intentionally works to subvert the educational system and propagandize education to undermine America’s foundation of government, through his daily actions, as stated, in no uncertain terms.

His methods of teaching, both in content and delivery, work to undermine the very students whose trust is violated, within the sanctity of the institutions of learning they attend.  This is academic misconduct on a national scope, as it pertains to those institutions that perpetuate the stated goal of a Socialist reformation. Consider the responsibility of many universities’ sympathetic administrators, in ignoring the realities of this movement, allowing “free speech” to cover a propaganda laden agenda.  This is institutionalized academic misconduct?  Can we end educations societal role in this social injustice, now?  This is the paradigm today; will this board expose it?

 

Bill Ayers has been promoted by his Socialist brethren to the VP of Curriculum Studies of the AERA, a position where he can and will expand his Socialist agenda programs to fully saturate the entire spectrum of education, via his leftist curriculum.  He is well on his way as the evidence supports, as kindergarten students are now exposed to the homosexual lifestyle.  The very definition of sedition is Bill Ayers’ day job. 

Remember, this is the man who recently said to Hugo Chavez, “Education is the motor-force of revolution”.  Chavez just recently took over control of the education system in Venezuela for the stated purpose of indoctrination!  Is there any defense to Bill Ayers intent?  The obvious answer is NO!

The investigation will expose many who have used their positions in education to further this revolution.  The facts show this is not McCarthyism; the goal is to expose this movement for what it is and to establish a curriculum that is free of this infection.  To develop a method that exposes individuals who perpetuate this movement with no recourse to those whistle blowers in education.  To develop mandatory classes that promote an understanding of Capitalism and America’s history as the world wide leader in human rights, social justice, diplomacy, morality and freedom, despite the Socialists intentional attacks to “disrupt and incapacitate” our government, our society and our educational system.  There is a smoking gun, and it is covered in their fingerprints!

 

Compare this country with all other countries, historically.  That is the bar, not the Utopian world that these Socialists pretend to usher in.   Socialism is international in scope, it is a one world order and America’s sovereignty is the price that is demanded.  Divide and conquer is the strategy.  Much of the division is a direct result of the activist organizations found on every major campus that have been created by the Socialist movement to “disrupt and incapacitate.”   This is the relevant Critical pedagogy today.

 

 

It is to be expected, due to the historical record, that this board may attempt to dismiss these accusations and defend Bill Ayers work as being protected under the guise of tenure and free speech, “the price we pay for our free society” as stated by President B. Joseph White.   That argument no longer has merit, given the Socialist movement’s deep roots in education and the body of evidence that substantiates the intent of their teachings, let alone the ultimate “price” that Socialism demands in regards to “our free society”.  Bill Ayers is guilty of sedition, not simply academic misconduct.  He went from radical Weatherman to radical teacher; his active and aggressive dedication to revolution never changed, only his methods, the definition of sedition.

It is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois to address this issue by calling for an investigation of Bill Ayers, as well as the Socialist movement’s subversion of the educational system.  The standard talking points associated with Bill Ayers carry no appreciable weight; the reality is much heavier, as is this board’s responsibility to America from this day forward.  The University of Illinois is on national notice.  You are either for the Constitution, that defines America, or for the Socialist reformation of America.  For which will you stand?  What will the legacy be?  How will this board proceed?  Keep in mind, this is a research institution!

 

I, a concerned citizen in Champaign County Illinois, Mark Thompson, based on my personal research and experiences, find this investigation is unquestionably justified and long overdue given the vast pool of evidence.  Now it is time for the Board of Trustees and Governor Quinn to respond.  Vote wisely to pursue this investigation, based on the evidence, as it is readily available.  The recent admissions scandal will pale in comparison if this board does not act decisively in this matter. 

 

Governor Quinn, the evidence overwhelmingly justifies an investigation by the appropriate military authority for sedition.  It is your responsibility based on the oath of office to call for this investigation as the head of our states law enforcement.  This too should not be dismissed, as it too would hang heavy, unsupportable.

 

 

This call for an investigation should take precedence over all other matters, as it is timely and has far reaching implications.  Your actions could very well change the course of history, by saving America from the infamous “fifth column”.   I look forward to your prompt, official responses.  Michelle has all my contact information.
